Madame X Tour Miami Review

The whole “theater tour” concept simply doesn’t work for dance music concerts. People want to dance, and understandably so... however, some of us just wanted to enjoy the seats we booked, and, with people standing in front of us all the time, we had no choice but to stand up too. Madonna does a lot with the limited theater space that she has, but, compared to her previous arena shows, this show felt, well, limited. It was fun, but gone was the energy seen in shows like “The Rebel Heart Tour”. As for the intimacy she promised audiences her theater tour would provide, that’s debatable. If you’re not front row and haven’t spent thousands of dollars to book a seat in the VIP area, you get the same amount of intimacy one gets in an arena show; none. Yes, you can see her better, but that’s why arena shows have projectors. To a regular audience member, it didn’t feel any different. And when she exits, she exits through the side door closer to the stage. No, she doesn’t walk all the way through the back. I’d trade this to an arena super show any day!
